ASI seminar looks into harnessing the power of AI to unify platforms, portfolios
With the coming of artificial intelligence or AI, the world is now in the era of a dynamic digital transformation. AI has been reshaping the way we connect, collaborate, and create value. But with this latest tech innovation, the landscape is ever evolving as well. Hence, thought leaders, innovators, and industry experts believe in unlocking the power of AI to unify platforms, portfolios, and possibilities.
Advance Solutions Inc (ASI) presented a tech update seminar on how AI can explore possibilities for a unified experience on September 24, 2025 at Romulo’s Café in Makati City. The seminar, entitled “Harnessing AI for Unified Experience” was held in cooperation with Intel Philippines and Dell Technologies Philippines. For almost 30 years, ASI has been a trusted distribution partner of various leading global IT brands in the industry.
This half-day event has probed deep into the evolving AI landscape — from cutting-edge solutions in client and infrastructure services to strategic insights from Dell Technologies and Intel. Tech enthusiasts, business leaders, or curious learners have gained fresh outlook on the future of intelligent systems and integrated experiences.
For the first part of the program, Jayson Ong, Client Solutions Specialist for Channel Partners at Dell Technologies, started the presentations with his topic: “Unleash potential with AI Client Solutions.” He presented the Dell CSG portfolio and began his discussion on differentiated simplicity and brand unification goals of Dell Technologies. He said that since Windows 10 support ends on Oct. 14, 2025, transition to Windows 11 is a beneficial decision.
And in the era of AI, choosing Dell PCs matches the benefits. Jayson presented the simplest PC portfolio for the AI era which is also part of Dell’s current PC portfolio branding: Dell, designed for play, school & work; Dell Pro, designed for professional-grade productivity; Dell Pro Max, designed for maximum performance. Further, Dell Pro Desktops and All-in-Ones deliver reliable performance and are built for business.
Jayson summarized his presentation with the following key takeaways for client solutions and modern workplace:
- Brand Unification — simplifies the customer experience by focusing on the Dell master brand, reducing complexity from sub-brands.
- Windows 11 Refresh — transition to Windows 11 is critical to maintain security, compliance, and productivity. There are still approximately 2.5 million devices running Windows 10.
- Refresh to AI PCs — AI PCs enable higher productivity, stronger security, and readiness for modern workloads. Experts predict that by 2028, 98% of PCs will be AI-enabled.
- Sell the Desk — Enhancing workspaces with monitors, docking stations, and ergonomic accessories increases employee productivity and satisfaction.
Another discussion from Dell Technologies followed, but this time for the ISG portfolio and the speaker was Allan C. Divinagracia. He’s been with Dell for 18 years as Data Center Specialist performing various sales and technical roles. His discussion focused on the modern data center evolution made possible by Dell Automation Platform Architecture with its three pillars of Velocity, Simplicity, and Assurance.
Allan said, a culmination of innovations from across Dell, the three pillars provide the following features/capabilities:
- Data center modernization — Simplify and transform IT infrastructure and operations on disaggregated Dell infrastructure.
- Edge computing growth — More AI/ML and IoT driving compute at edge locations
- Unlock the full power of AI — Empower business to increase the pace of innovation with AI.
- AI-driven observability and insights — Increase agility and give IT teams more control over their digital infrastructure.
He also cited the Dell AI Factory which is Dell’s approach to help customers embrace and implement AI. This approach simplifies deployment of AI solutions with validated and optimized configurations for your system.
For the final presentation, Wendy Butlig Gurra, Enterprise Technical Specialist at Intel Philippines took the stage with her topic “Intel Bringing AI Everywhere.” She started off the discussions by declaring that AI as the future of innovation is here and the current landscape is evolving rapidly. In fact, various sectors have been adopting use of AI namely, education; health; finance; retail; government; energy; automotive. She described Intel’s AI strategy as open, innovative, efficient, and secure.
Wendy mentioned Intel’s tech updates for 2025 such as Intel Core Ultra (Lunar Lake for laptop and Arrow Lake for desktop) processors comprising Intel’s AI PC portfolio for 2025; Intel vPro as the no-compromise solution for business. She said that Intel delivers what modern businesses need: performance; manageability; connectivity; AI; stability; security. There is also the new Intel Xeon 6 which is the latest processor for servers bringing AI everywhere; for evolving data centers; and ecosystem ready. Xeon is the most deployed host CPU for AI accelerated systems.
Dynamic presentations and conversations capped this occasion plus some fun during the raffle draws with guests winning various prizes. But the best part was the priceless trove of knowledge imparted to valued clients for the benefit of their respective organizations.
