Agents have unique identities. People invoke them using common gestures (such as @mentions) in apps that enterprise users typically operate in (such as Teams, Word, Outlook, and more). As of May 1, 2026, Microsoft Agent 365 is generally available for the Commercial segment on a per user basis. Microsoft Agent 365 does not require specific product prerequisites to enable; however, it is recommended that customers have Entra P1, Entra P2, or Entra Suite in addition to Purview Data Loss Prevention to make full use of the benefits.

Disinformation elevated to national risk
“In this environment, the rapid proliferation of false, misleading, and panic-inducing content—particularly that relating to oil prices, economic disruptions, and government actions—poses a direct and escalating threat to public order, economic confidence, and national security,” the agencies said. “The scale and velocity of such content on Meta’s platforms significantly amplify these risks,” they added.
Philippine officials noted that as Filipinos increasingly rely on social media for real-time updates, they are instead encountering a surge of viral falsehoods—from exaggerated fuel price hikes to fabricated reports of shortages and institutional instability.
The letter listed several measures Meta should implement immediately. These include faster detection and removal of high‑risk content, a 24/7 coordination channel with Philippine authorities, clear escalation protocols, and regular transparency reports on enforcement.
Meta was asked to confirm receipt of the letter within 48 hours and submit a detailed compliance plan within seven days. The government also warned that failure to act could result in regulatory or legal action.
The internet boom in the last 10 years has paved the way for the overwhelming emergence of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, among others.
